Merida Reacto 4000. Was assisted by Ryan and he was very patient regarding my queries. Explained the differences betwen the geometry and groupset and asked me to make an informed decision and not a seller who pushes you to get the highest end models. Remember to find a model which suits your needs and within your budget, and still enjoy the cycling experience. Gilbert and the rest of the staff was very friendly too! Took the bike out for a quick spin, realised that I have back aches and neck strains while cycling, contacted the shop and Ryan asked to me to head over to the shop for a bike fit. He assessed my posture and made minor adjustments and gave me tips on how to cycle in a proper way too! Gilbert gave me a raincoat since it was gonna rain while I was about to leave the shop, what a friendly gesture! Thanks Hup Leong, for making my first bike purchase a memorable one. 50% Trade-In Policy (T&Cs)

Bicycle Conditions

  • Bicycles must be purchased from Hup Leong Company:

    • Physical copy of proof of purchase not required.

    • Customer’s name and contact number (used for the purchase of said bike) required for verification.

  • Trade-In only applicable for Adult Complete Bicycle purchases:

    • Kids bikes are NOT eligible for this Trade-In Policy

    • Frame kits and other bicycle components are not eligible for this scheme.

  • Bicycles must be within 2 years from its date of purchase to be eligible for the Trade-In Policy.

  • Bicycles can be traded-in as long as it is in usable condition:

    • Bicycles must have all their original, or higher end, components installed.

    • Subject to inspection of broken parts.

  • Bicycles will be traded in at half its original price:

    • ‘Original Price’ refers to the amount paid for the bicycle alone on the date of purchase.

    • Costs of accessories and custom parts do not apply.

  • Bicycles eligible for Trade-In can be Traded in for other brands of complete bicycles sold by Hup Leong Company.

Credit Terms

  • Trade-In value to be used for offsetting new purchase:

    • Can only be used for Complete bicycle purchases.

    • Cannot be redeemed for cash.

    • Only applicable to bicycles not on offer or special promotions.

    • No accessories or big-ticket items are eligible.

  • Trade-in value must be used promptly, and cannot be saved for used on a later date.


GENERAL

Do you sell any cycling apparel?

We do not carry any anything else other than helmets apparel wise. 

Do you provide bike fitting services?

We provide only a basic bike fit which involves the measuring of your inseam to determine saddle height and frame size. 

Do you guys provide transportation services for bikes?

Yes we do. Bicycle pick-up and delivery would be priced at $35/trip. 

Do you guys do bicycle rental?

We do not have such a service. 

Do I have to make/book an appointment for the Bike Spa?

No appointments are needed for the Bike Spa. Queue order will be on a first come first serve basis, if not, strictly determined by the management of Hup Leong Co.

How do I get to the showroom from the MRT Station?

Take Exit C from Chinatown MRT (NE4/DT19).

Walk through People's Park Complex food center and you would come across a small road. 

Walk along the main road towards Blk 51 Chin Swee Rd. Alternatively, look out for the State Court, we are located directly opposite them.

Where do I find parking?

A multi-story car park with its entrance along Chin Swee Rd would be the most ideal for parking.

Which is the nearest bus stop?

Bus Stop No. 06171 (Opp State Ct) with bus numbers, 51, 143, 174, 174e, 186, 568. 

PAYMENTS

What are the modes of Payment accepted?

We accept Cash, Nets, Credit Card and Bank Transfer.

Do you provide GST refunds?

GST refunds can be made but only applicable for purchases above S$100. 

Do you offer any instalment plans? 

We currently do not offer any instalment plans. 

WARRANTIES

How do I register and claim warranty for the bike/accessory that I have purchased?

For all items purchased from us, there would not be a need to register elsewhere for warranty coverage. Simply bring the item back to the shop with the proof of purchase and we able to process your claim from there. 

What does the warranty cover?

Warranty covers any manufacturing defects during the stipulated time as according to the brand's stipulated duration. 

How long is the warranty for the item that I have purchased?

Duration would be dependent on the individual manufacturer and as stated on the packaging or from other credible sources such as the official brand's website. 


RETURNS POLICY

Would I be able to get a refund?

We do not offer refunds however you may have your purchase exchanged for another item of equal value or higher.

Items can only be exchanged for replacements of the equal value, determined by our pricing at the time of exchange. If exchanging for a different colour or size retailing at a higher price, the difference will need to be paid before the exchange can be fulfilled.

Please note there are items which are deemed Non-Exchangeable. Kindly check with our staff should you have any doubts about your purchase’s eligibility.

How long would I have before I am not allowed to have my purchases exchanged?

We do not accept exchanges for purchases that have been made longer than 7 days.

One exchange is allowed per purchase. The exchange product will not be eligible for further exchange unless faulty.

Is there any costs involved?

  • Postage or Shipping costs back to us for exchanges would have to paid by you.

  • Kindly note that Hup Leong Company will not bear any responsibility for items that have gone missing or have been damaged in transit or mishandled during shipping.

  • Should you require us to have your item picked up, standard transportation charges will apply at $35/trip. Reach out to us at sales_sq@hupleong.com for transportation arrangements.

In what condition does my purchase have to be in for the exchange?

  • Goods must be returned with all original parts, packaging intact and tags attached. Goods returned with incomplete or damaged packaging or missing or unattached tags may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

  • Product must be deemed faulty or defective by our Technical team within seven (7) working days of delivery in order to receive a replacement item. This may include inspection of the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement. We reserve the right to reject any return, exchange, refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.

  • In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we will have the right to reject the exchange.

  • Goods returned as unused or unworn that have clearly been used, worn or washed will be refused.

  • We reserve the right to reject any exchanges deemed unfit or unreasonable.
